Training in Robotics
Robotics is revolutionizing the entertainment industry by enhancing creativity, safety, and audience engagement. In film, robotic cameras and stunt doubles allow for impossible, hyper-precise, and safe shooting of complex action sequences. Theme parks use advanced animatronics to create interactive, life-like characters that boost visitor experience and approachability. Furthermore, AI-driven robots are increasingly used in live events and concerts for synchronized visual artistry. Beyond spectacles, robots are becoming indispensable tools for high-speed, repeatable tasks that improve efficiency and reduce the risk of injury to human actors and crew members.
Below is a list of the qualifications that we offer in Robotics
Advanced Diploma of Engineering (Electives on Robotics) (coming soon)
We also provide consulting services in Robotics.
Insight CEO, Dr Mark Griffin, is a computer engineer with over 30 years of experience. Insight explores robotics for medical applications within our own research. Insight has a whole Division for Engineering Applications. Mark also provides event support for sessions all about robotics at the World Science Festival. We also have a gallery of some of the photos and videos that we have captured on Our Research and Robotics.
Insight is based within the Gold Coast Health and Knowledge Precinct. Insight CEO, Dr Mark Griffin, is a committee member with Engineers Australia and Australian Science Communicators.
