Training in Workplace Health and Safety
Workplace health and safety (WHS) is critical in the entertainment industry to protect cast and crew from hazards like working at heights, complex stunts, pyrotechnics, and electrical equipment. Because this sector involves high-pressure environments, tight deadlines, and frequently fatigue, strict safety protocols and training are essential to prevent severe injuries, particularly when using specialized machinery or working in dimly lit venues. Proactive WHS reduces downtime from accidents, prevents legal liabilities, and boosts productivity by ensuring a secure environment. Ultimately, it transforms the workplace culture from chaotic to secure, fostering trust and ensuring sustainable production operations.
